Guide and Q/A of pore care in summer

pore care

We receive a lot of skin problems from our customers at Juranz. The number of pore problems increases in the summer.

In summer, the secretion of sebum increases, and pores become more visible, so it may be especially easy to worry about them.

That's why we're going to introduce you to the Juranz way of thoroughly taking care of your pores in summer.

Let's say goodbye to pore worries and enjoy the summer with smooth, beautiful skin!

Summer Pore Care Measures: Q and A

Q:

"I'm having trouble with black patches on my nose and nostrils. I sometimes use an exfoliating pack, but it only cleanses my skin at that time, and it soon goes back to normal. Is there anything I can do to take care of it?

A:

Blackheads are the result of the oxidation of sebum and dead skin cells, which are mixed together to form keratin plugs.

If the turnover is normal, they will eventually fall off along with other aging keratin.

However, if the turnover is not going well, the pores may become blocked and cause inflammation, acne, and pimples, so countermeasures are necessary.

The best way to prevent blackhead pores is to review your cleansing and face washing routine.

Use a cleanser to quickly but gently remove make-up and sebum, then carefully and gently use a foam to lift away dirt and grime.

Warming your skin with a steamed towel before cleansing or washing your face will soften your skin and make it easier to remove dirt from your pores.

The key is gentleness and speed. If you scrub too hard to clean your skin, it may damage the skin around the pores, lowering the barrier function and causing skin problems such as dryness.

It is important to cleanse gently and soothingly.

Also, do not spend too much time cleansing and washing your face.

If you leave cleanser or cleanser on your face for a long time, it may strip your skin of the moisture it needs and make it dry. "Keep in mind that it is best to do it quickly and efficiently.

It is also recommended to use a wiping lotion to remove dead skin cells that cannot be removed by facial cleansing.

This will help normalize the skin's turnover as well as make it easier for the next lotion to be applied.

For the wipe-off lotion, take a generous amount on a cotton pad and gently glide it off without rubbing.

To be honest, peel-off type packs are not recommended as they may damage your skin.

If you use a peel-off type pack, make sure to moisturize your skin afterwards and use it no more than once a week at the most to prevent damage to your skin.

The key to caring for your pores is not to clean them all at once, but to clean them little by little, day by day.

Q:

"I have noticed sagging pores on my cheeks since when. Isn't this a sign of aging? How can I get them back?"

A:

Sagging pores are caused by the sagging of the skin due to age, and the pores are pulled into an oval shape and become noticeable.

Since it is caused by aging, it is difficult to take fundamental measures with cosmetics alone, but it is possible to make them less noticeable.

Pores stand out due to the following three reasons: disorganized texture, disorganized turnover, and excessive sebum.

Therefore, by removing excessive sebum and taking care of your skin to improve texture and promote metabolism, your pores will become less noticeable.

The most important thing is to moisturize well. In the summer, people tend to avoid or reduce the use of emulsions and creams because of the high humidity and heat, but this often leads to "hide-behind dry skin" that is not well moisturized.

This is especially true for those who are constantly in air-conditioned rooms. Even in summer, it is recommended to use the right amount of emulsion or cream.

If you don't like stickiness, use a moisturizer with a light feel.

Q:

"My complex is that my pores are large and prominent. I want to do something about it!"

A:

Everyone has pores, but whether they are noticeable or not depends on the person. Also, the degree of prominence differs depending on the season even for the same person.

As I mentioned in Case 2, the more disorganized your texture, the more disorganized your turnover, and the more sebum you have, the more noticeable your pores will be.

When the skin texture is in order, the light hitting the skin is diffusely reflected, so the pores do not stand out, but when the texture is disordered, the light is directly reflected, so the pores stand out more easily.

To prevent pores from standing out, it is important to remove excessive sebum, continue to properly moisturize the skin, and promote metabolism by improving the texture of the skin.

Summer Pore Care: Recommended Skin Care

Be careful not to under-care for your skin!

Summer is the season when we tend to lack care for our skin, whether it is because it looks moisturized by sweat and sebum, or because of the heat that takes away our motivation.

In fact, sweat washes away moisture, so it is easy to develop "hide-behind dry skin" where your skin looks moist but is dry inside.

In addition, some people spend a lot of time in air-conditioned rooms, which accelerates the drying process.

When the skin is dry, the texture of the skin is disrupted, and pores become more prominent.

In addition, the secretion of sebum is increased to prevent dryness, which may cause pores to open.
